Officially, April 15th is Tax Day in the US. 

It may vary depending on what day of the week the 15th falls.  Normally, if the 15th is on a Sunday, Tax Day would be on Monday the 16th.

However, there is a provision about Washington DC's holidays affecting Tax Day.

April 15th is also the day the Titanic sank.
